Inspire Education (“the centre” or “we”) is at Shop G06, G/F, Phase 3, Whampoa Garden, Hung Hom, Kowloon, serving kindergarten, primary and secondary students. We value families' personal information and aim to handle it in accordance with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and its six data protection principles.
1. Information we collect
When you enquire, book an assessment or enrol by phone, email or WhatsApp, we may collect the name, telephone number, email, student year and relevant course information you provide.
Course-related information may include
- Subjects and classes you wish to enquire about or enrol in
- Parents on the Free learning assessment school learning information you voluntarily provide when making an enquiry
- Learning observations recorded by tutors during initial and classroom assessments
Information we do not request
You do not need to provide identity-card numbers or bank details for course enquiries. Please do not send unrelated sensitive personal information through WhatsApp or email.
2. How we use information
- Respond to course enquiries and arrange assessments or lesson times
- Handle enrolment, class changes and administrative communication
- Provide progress feedback when requested
Progress feedback forms part of our centre's Parent–tutor communication . If we later wish to use information for a new purpose beyond those described, we will seek your consent first.
3. Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Data is used for teaching and administration; communication through WhatsApp, email or social platforms is also subject to those providers' terms. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above.
Data security
We take reasonably practicable measures against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, deletion or use of personal data, and restrict access to staff who need it for their duties.
4. Third-party services used on this website
This website provides an enquiry form. Submissions store your name, email, phone number, message, source page, IP address and time, and notify staff through the centre's configured email service. Online payment is not provided. The following third-party services are loaded to display content and may receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts: loads website fonts
- jsDelivr: loads website interface components (Bootstrap and AOS)
- Google Maps: on the Contact us page displays the centre's location
- WhatsApp: after clicking a WhatsApp button, your conversation takes place on the WhatsApp platform
5. Your rights: access and correction
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to:
- Find out whether we hold your personal data
- Request access to and a copy of that data
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
To access or correct personal information, please email info@inspire-edu.hk or call +852 9123 4567. You may also submit a written request using the Privacy Commissioner's prescribed Data Access Request Form. We respond within 40 days after receiving a complete request; the Ordinance permits a fee that is not excessive for data access requests.
6. Information about students and minors
Our students include Early years 、 Primary and Secondary stages. Information about minors is generally provided by parents or guardians, who should also make related enquiries and access requests.
